I just got diagnosed with this a few weeks ago and oh my goodness. . . . I can't get an MRI until June 13th and i'm terrified i'm going to have to have surgery

I had to have 3 levels of CSpine fused due to stenosis from paoriatric arthritis. Choose your neuroosurgeon carefully! Make sure they do 100s of fusions annually. Teaching hospitals are great, I went to UCSF.

Mine has been since 2017 and i barely can have a bowel and ive been to hundreds of doctors

Curious if other surgeons in the mid-Atlantic area are using this technique. I have no desire to have a laminectomy. I’m quickly getting to this place and I don’t want to end up with an unstable spine.

I am a Canadian who had severe spinal stenosis L4-L5 S1. Contacted Dr. Cantor via his website as instructed. Sent my MRI down arranged a consult with Dr. Cantor. We went over my MRI just like on the video and yes I was a canadate for a lumber decompression. I agreed to go ahead and boom I had an appointment. His office staff is very accommodating and goes to great lengths to keep you in the process. Emails and phone calls are answered. Had surgery May 2nd 2024. Everything is great so far. I can highly recommend Dr. Cantor and his team. Also the care at Holy Cross in Ft. Lauderdale was A1.

how does this compare with Dr Tony Morks procedure using laser?

So essentially it’s shaving down the spurs that grow? What’s the recovery on this? Is any of the Anatomy changed?

I’ve had Acdf and a laminectomy at the age of 40. I suppose by 45 or 50 I’ll be receiving another fusion…..

When should I see a doctor and get treatment for my cervical issues? I have pain on my right neck and it radiates behind my right scapula and on my right hand.My middle finger feels like it’s burning even when I wash my hands and my right wrist is so painful too. I also have numbness and tingling on those areas when I lay down in bed .This has been going on for years now😔

I have all those symptoms. What about dizziness with vomiting I also get that. Can you explain why if it is connected. Also Im experiancing memory problems some say its not related some say it is. My MRI looks the same as the one you showed Ive been left like this a year. He only gave steroid injections somrtimes i can barely function for the dizziness. Its more in the mornings for some reason. Im 52.

Please start teaching radiologist and neurosurgeon about Adhesive Arachnoiditis. So many of us are going untreated or underdressed because doctors don't know how to spot it on MRI.

This is a year old, so I doubt Dr. Cantor will see this... but, if by chance... I'd need to ask about bone loss from loss of hormones from menopause, loss of nutrients from bile issues flushing your system after having the gallbladder removed, and also effects on bone from prescriptions for heart failure. Seems complicated.

5 months ago I had a spine surgeon in our town tell me that I had cervical stenosis and spondylosis and would benefit from having the bone spurs removed. Three cervical vertebra have fused naturally in the front of my neck and says he can't do anything with that because it will just grow back. Now he says there's nothing wrong and he won't do anything to help me. I think it's just because I am on Medicaid, but I can't work due to spinal stenosis and spondylosis in order to get better insurance and now I live with severe pain and motor function loss in my legs and hands.

Sounds like the ultrasonics is the only way to go… problem? finding the surgeon that has the expertise!

Dear Dr Cantor I have servical Stenosis from C3 to C6 will this cause pain in the neck stiffnes in the neck and Headaches I have been suffering forv3 1/2 years now and even thought to take my own life because of the pain.Are these symptoms with stenosis?

Seen an orthopedic doctor and he recommended surgery. I’m slowly recovering, but now my physical therapist recommended that I research a surgeon in case of a drop foot or something severe. What is an estimate for self-pay patients?

Dizziness and vomiting were also few symptoms my mom is facing. She is being very uncomfortable and it happened out of no where. Local doc did mention something being convex/concave near the next. I am hell scared. Is it something fatal? I never saw my mom so miserable and that too her condition changed in very short period of time.
